JDL partnered with Finnegan to complete the transformation of their existing 17,000 sf office space in the heart of Seaport at 2 Seaport Lane. With the architectural and engineering expertise of Visnick and Caulfield and WB Engineers, JDL was able to turn an outdated environment into a captivating, modern and eye-popping office.

Upon entering through the newly installed double glass entrance doors, visitors are immediately greeted by a custom-built reception desk which sits under a custom millwork wood soffit.  The reception area seamlessly flows into the client welcome center.  The center itself offers more than just a warm reception—it houses a cold brew coffee dispenser, a quench filtered water tap, and a stocked glass mini fridge, elevating the welcoming experience.

Adjacent to the Welcome Center, the state-of-the-art multipurpose room showcases Finnegan’s commitment to adaptability. Featuring custom Modernfold glass and fabric walls, this space is dynamic in its ability to expand for large events or contract for private meetings.  The installation of the collapsible glass and fabric Modernfold walls demanded innovative structural solutions. Overcoming challenges with existing electrical infrastructure, ductwork, and pipes required careful coordination and creative problem-solving.

The front-of-house area continues to impress with four brand new conference rooms, each illuminated by abundant natural light through glass partition walls. The conference rooms and the multipurpose room all integrate the latest in video conferencing technology, fostering connectivity and collaboration.

Stepping into the back-of-house area, the focus shifts to the comfort and productivity of Finnegan’s team members and partners.  A crowning achievement is the community hub which was meticulously crafted specifically for Finnegan.  The community hub is surrounded by glass walls and features a gorgeous custom island.  This inviting space cultivates relaxation and camaraderie.
