OC&C Strategy Consultants

60 State Street, Boston

JDL was onboarded alongside Fusion Design Consultants and Rimkus Engineering to complete OC&C Consultants’ new Boston office at 60 State Street.

JDL worked through permit issuance delays by proactively starting procurement in an effort to hit the ground running once permits allowing demolition to proceed were in hand. This set the remainder of the project up for success and we were able to push through demolition and construction to bring our projected COO date in. JDL and subcontractors worked diligently to bring Fusion’s collaboration focused design with personal branding touches for the space to life. The wall of windows overlooking Boston Harbor worked in our favor to create a bright and welcoming office for OC&C employees! JDL also worked closely with Fusion to pivot on site to OC&C requests and ensure the final space delivered included every detail they wanted. Due to conflicts with existing building tenants our final inspection timeline was crunched in the 11th hour.

With the support of JDL’s permitting team we utilized our strong relationship with the city of Boston’s various inspectional service agencies and and obtained our BFD Life Safety Walk Through sign-off on the day of submission — an outcome that is highly uncommon.
