    JDL EXCEL Co-op Program

    The objective of the JDL Excel Co-op Program is to introduce students to various roles within the organization. In this role, students will gain knowledge of and assist in daily activities in the Project Management Department, Estimating Department & Field Operations. Here you will observe the Field with projected related tasks, document control, office to field communications, and the overall success of the construction project. During the JDL Corporate Interiors, Inc. Excel CO-OP program, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Teams with various tasks to ensure project success: The following schedule will occur during your CO-OP: Two days a week you will working with the project management team on project related tasks Two days a week you will be working with the estimating team to help gather estimates and review scope One day a week you will be on site learning and observing the job site

    Job Duties

    • High energy level and enthusiasm;
    • Strong level of discretion, professionalism and attention to detail;
    • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written;
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
    • Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office based programs;
    • Ability to handle confidential information;
    • Ability to travel within Boston and surrounding towns;
    • Sense of urgency & ability to meet deadlines.
