Completed Project: Beth Israel Lahey Health | 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown

JDL Corporate Interiors is proud to announce the successful completion of an 11,000 square-foot primary care and radiology clinic for Beth Israel Lahey Health at 480 Pleasant Street in Watertown, MA. In collaboration with David Saltzman Architecture and C3 Engineering, this project transformed the first floor into a modern, efficient, and patient-centric healthcare environment.

The project commenced with the meticulous demolition of outdated structures to make way for the new design. Subsequently, new walls were constructed, and state-of-the-art electrical systems were installed to ensure reliable power and support modern technological needs.

A critical early phase involved installing new plumbing infrastructure beneath the concrete slab. Trenches were precisely cut and cleared to accommodate new sinks, toilets, and drains. After laying the piping, the trenches were backfilled with recycled soil and sand, inspected to meet state regulations, and then refilled with concrete to restore the slab.

The completed space now features a welcoming reception area, six exam rooms, a fully equipped laboratory, four restrooms, a staff lounge, and a conference room. Additional clinical and support spaces include treatment rooms, radiology and ultrasound suites, mammogram and image reading rooms, as well as designated areas for medical preparation, clean supply, and soiled work.

This project exemplifies JDL’s commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare spaces that enhance both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
