Yesterday evening, a group of JDL employees enjoyed the lively atmosphere of the 9th annual Battle of the Biotech Bands held at Royale nightclub in Boston. This charitable event, organized by the BoBB Foundation, draws support from corporate sponsorships and ticket sales, with all proceeds directed to affiliated charitable organizations.

JDL was delighted to participate, knowing that their contribution directly supports these worthy causes. The event showcased three remarkable bands: The Archivist, representing Inozyme Pharma and supporting GACI Global; Lifesize, representing Cytiva and supporting Susan G. Komen; and Supernova, representing Alexion | AstraZeneca and supporting Children’s Services of Roxbury. While all bands delivered outstanding performances, Lifesize claimed the coveted trophy for the evening.

In addition to the fantastic music, attendees indulged in a variety of delicious food offerings, including charcuterie, a mac and cheese station, hamburgers, and a selection of take-out cartons featuring steak, veggie, and chicken lo mein.

The night was filled with lively dancing, valuable networking opportunities with clients, and the chance to foster stronger bonds within the JDL team. Looking ahead, everyone anticipates next year’s event with great excitement.
