At 800 Boylston Street, located in Boston’s iconic Prudential Center, JDL had the opportunity to deliver six unique projects, all within a single landmark address. From high-end office interiors to beautifully modernized common areas and restrooms, each space was carefully constructed with attention to detail, collaboration, and tenant needs in mind. Below is a look at each project completed at this premier location:

Ligand Pharmaceuticals

This upper-floor office buildout for Ligand Pharmaceuticals involved a comprehensive renovation of 3,330 square feet. The scope included upgrades to all architectural finishes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key features of the finished space include new custom millwork cabinetry, quartz countertops, a tile backsplash, and integrated sink, along with decorative LED lighting and glass-fronted entry and offices. Carpet inlays paired with vinyl flooring and updated appliances complete this bright, modernized workplace.

Confidential Client, Prudential Tower

For this 3,750 SF office buildout, JDL partnered with BXP, Visnick & Caulfield, and WB Engineers to deliver a polished and efficient environment for a confidential client.

The design centers around a stunning reception area featuring a white marbled front desk, a spacious conference room, multiple private offices, dedicated collaboration rooms, and a fully outfitted kitchen to support employee wellness and productivity.

Belvidere Arcade Restrooms

This high-visibility renovation upgraded the men’s and women’s restrooms at 800 Boylston Street’s retail level. Completed in partnership with BXP, the redesign enhances both aesthetics and functionality in a frequently used public space.

The restrooms now feature premium materials such as terrazzo flooring, custom quartz vanities, and illuminated mirrors — delivering a modern, clean, and elevated experience for Prudential Center visitors.

CBS&P

This 4,000 SF 10th-floor office space was built to balance functionality with modern aesthetics. The layout includes demountable partition offices, a fully upgraded kitchen and pantry with a central island, new millwork, stone backsplash, and brand-new appliances.

Finishes such as LVT and carpet flooring, stylish lighting, and a signature wooden slat wall bring both texture and sophistication to the environment. The space is complete with a welcoming reception area and refined conference room.

JDL collaborated closely with CBS&P, BXP, VCA, and WB Engineers to bring the project vision to life.

BayPine

In collaboration with BayPine, BXP, VCA, and WB Engineers, JDL transformed 11,833 SF on the 10th floor into a high-end, collaborative office environment.

The layout features demountable glass office fronts, high-end lighting throughout, LVT flooring, a sleek pantry/kitchen, and a dedicated wellness room. A clean reception area and adjacent conference rooms support both client-facing and internal functions. This build-out is designed to reflect the firm’s professionalism and forward-thinking culture.

10th Floor Corridor and Restrooms

This 4,465 SF renovation focused on enhancing the shared common areas of the 10th floor, including the elevator lobby, restrooms, hallways, and a wellness suite. JDL delivered the project in partnership with BXP, VCA, and WB Engineers.

The redesigned spaces incorporate refined wall and floor tile, updated wallcoverings, new restroom countertops, toilet partitions, plumbing fixtures, and premium accessories — delivering an improved daily experience for all floor occupants.
