JDL is proud to highlight our recently completed high-end conference center for Carr Properties, located on historic State Street in downtown Boston. This exceptional project represents a full-floor renovation that blends luxury, craftsmanship, and technical precision to create a sophisticated environment for meetings, collaboration, and corporate events.

The scope of work included a complete transformation of the floor, featuring a new elevator lobby, common corridor, and fully renovated restrooms. Every element was designed with an elevated standard of quality, incorporating premium materials and thoughtfully executed details.

A hallmark of the project is its use of Italian-sourced finishes, including imported lighting, specialty tile, and Porcelanosa stone. The space showcases high-end custom millwork throughout, complemented by a custom collection wood flooring that adds warmth and character. Two custom-built floating wood ceilings — each integrating seamlessly designed light fixtures, serve as architectural centerpieces that bring both beauty and technical complexity to the environment.

Across the conference center, visitors will find a rich palette of textures and finishes, including tile, wallcovering, and acoustically engineered felt panels, all selected to enhance both aesthetics and function.
This project stands as a testament to the extreme attention to detail, craftsmanship, and teamwork that defined every phase of design and construction.
