A handful of the JDL team members attended the 15th Annual Boston Winter Ball benefiting the Corey C. Griffin Foundation at the Omni Hotel. Referred to as, “Boston’s Biggest Night Out,” JDL was thrilled to attend this black-tie benefit with over 1,500 people. This year the foundation raised over $2.2 million for Corey’s Kids. To say the least, it was a night to remember.
The Corey C. Griffin Foundation makes strategic investments to improve the lives and opportunities for youth. Their focus on education, healthcare, and faith & character development is aimed at making a transformative impact on “Corey’s Kids” at crucial times in their lives.
Through their program partners they fund after school programs, character building exercises, college admissions counseling and leadership training to challenged youth. Additionally, they focus on mental health by partnering with the Franciscan Children’s Hospital to battle the largest mental health crisis in history and give struggling youth with mental illness the opportunity and help they need.
To begin the night everyone who entered took red carpet photos before setting foot in the party. They had delicious small plates, sweet potato fries’ buffets, electrifying entertainment, photobooths, and lots of dancing! The event had over 1,200 young professionals, executives, and influencers with every single one of them dressed to the nines! Now we all know why it has been titled “Boston’s Biggest Night Out.”
Overall, it was a great night to celebrate an incredible foundation and we look forward to next years. For more information on the Corey C. Griffin Foundation, go to www.coreycgriffinfoundation.org see how you can get involved!
