JDL was onboarded alongside Fusion Design Consultants and Rimkus Engineering to complete OC&C Consultants’ new Boston office at 60 State Street.

JDL worked through permit issuance delays by proactively starting procurement in an effort to hit the ground running once permits allowing demolition to proceed were in hand. This set the remainder of the project up for success and we were able to push through demolition and construction to bring our projected COO date in. JDL and subcontractors worked diligently to bring Fusion’s collaboration focused design with personal branding touches for the space to life. The wall of windows overlooking Boston Harbor worked in our favor to create a bright and welcoming office for OC&C employees.

With the support of JDL’s permitting team, we utilized our strong relationship with The City of Boston’s various inspectional service agencies and and obtained our BFD Life Safety Walkthrough sign-off on the day of submission, an outcome that is highly uncommon.
