Harbor Capital

33 Arch Street, Boston

JDL completed a tenant fit-out for Harbor Capital on the 19th floor of 33 Arch Street in Boston, transforming the space into a modern, highly collaborative workplace.

The program balances focused work with teamwork, combining private offices, open workstations, and a range of dedicated focus and huddle rooms with open collaboration zones. A boardroom, wellness room, café, and support spaces round out the floor.

A defining aspect of the project was the balance between new construction and the reuse of existing conditions. JDL salvaged and refinished the existing wood flooring, and retained select lighting fixtures, HVAC components, and other building elements where possible, while introducing new architectural finishes, custom millwork, lighting, and MEP systems. A curved interior soffit, following the shape of the building, adds a distinctive architectural detail that ties the space to its setting.

The result is a flexible, thoughtfully designed workplace that blends the character of the existing space with a fresh, modern identity.
