JDL was engaged by Webster Equity Partners and Newmark to support their relocation into a newly renovated office, transforming an existing space into a modern, high-performance workplace. Our team led a full interior fit-out from start to finish, working in close coordination with VCA, AVID, and Newmark to bring the vision to life.

The project required careful navigation of complex existing conditions, particularly with above-ceiling coordination across multiple trades. Through proactive planning and strong collaboration, JDL maintained the architectural vision and design intent while keeping the project on track.

The completed space features a refined mix of high-end finishes, including specialty broadloom carpet, luxury vinyl tile, and custom millwork that create a cohesive and elevated aesthetic. Wainscoting in the reception area and managing partners’ offices adds a layer of classic detail and warmth. The build-out also included new demountable partitions and a large operable partition in a primary conference room. To support this feature, a structural steel beam was seamlessly integrated into the ceiling system, reflecting JDL’s ability to execute complex engineering solutions within tight design constraints.

To further enhance occupant comfort, a specialized skylight film was installed in the boardroom to reduce heat gain and control direct sunlight while preserving natural light.
