The office layout balances private offices and open workspaces, allowing employees the flexibility to focus individually or work together seamlessly. Sound-mitigating phone rooms provide quiet areas for calls and deep work, enhancing efficiency without disrupting the open office flow. Custom design elements throughout the space reinforce the B.A.A.’s mission, creating an environment that is both inspiring and practical. A standout feature of the headquarters is the custom trophy displays, which highlight the B.A.A.’s storied history and accomplishments, serving as a focal point for employees and visitors. The conference room, with its direct view of the Boston Marathon finish line, establishes a powerful connection between the organization’s work and the event it is known for. The modern kitchen, designed as a central gathering space, features a marathon countdown clock, reinforcing the organization’s purpose and building excitement year-round.
