JDL was engaged by BXP and Phaidon International to lead the fit-out of their expansion project on the 17th floor at 200 Clarendon Street, Boston. Having already occupied half of the floor, Phaidon collaborated closely with VCA and Bala Engineers to seamlessly take over the remaining space, ensuring their growing team had the room they needed to thrive.
This comprehensive project involved a full demolition to make way for a thoughtfully designed, modern workspace that fosters both productivity and collaboration. Key features included a brand-new pantry with custom millwork, inviting work lounge areas, open and dynamic collaboration spaces, and six huddle rooms designed for focused meetings. To create a more cohesive and expansive environment, the project called for the removal of two existing partition walls, seamlessly integrating the new space with Phaidon’s existing café and game room. This transformation not only enhanced the functionality of the office but also provided employees with breathtaking 360-degree views of Boston’s iconic Back Bay area—a workplace upgrade that blends comfort and panoramic cityscapes.
JDL is proud to have played a role in bringing this vision to life, delivering a workspace that reflects Phaidon International’s commitment to growth, collaboration, and excellence.
