Several members of the JDL team attended the 2024 CBA Achievement Awards last night at the InterContinental Hotel in Boston. JDL was proud to serve as an Underwriter Sponsor for an event that recognizes some of the most notable deals, partners, and colleagues in our industry! It was a wonderful opportunity to share this evening with our friends and clients.

The CBA Achievement Awards, held annually, highlight the most significant deals of the past year and honor excellence within the Boston brokerage community. The awards encompass various categories, including Deals of the Year Awards and Special Recognition Awards such as Future Leader of the Year, Landlord of the Year, Collaborating Professional of the Year, and the McCall Leadership Award.

This event represents the largest gathering of the year for the brokerage community, bringing together influential leaders and decision-makers in the local brokerage industry.

To commence the evening, JDL hosted a CBA Awards Pre-Party at Nebo in downtown Boston. These intimate gatherings provide us with an opportunity to express our gratitude to our clients and foster meaningful connections. Later, we transitioned to the award show around 6:30 PM, enjoying refreshments until it was time to move to the main seating area for dinner. The dinner menu featured a refreshing salad as an appetizer, followed by a savory steak and potatoes main course, and concluded with a delightful chocolate mousse cake for dessert.

The event concluded at 9 PM, celebrating renowned names we are fortunate to collaborate with, such as Newmark, Fusion, CBRE, JLL, Cresa, Cushman & Wakefield, Samuels & Associates, who were either nominated or emerged as winners.

We’d like to give a special mention to Carly Kiernan, Assistant Vice President at JLL, for being honored as the 2023 Future Leader of the Year! Notably, Carly is the sister of Kyle Kiernan, our Vice President of Preconstruction here at JDL. Clearly, greatness runs in the family.
